XM FireLine Flame Retardant fabrics FR-CVC create our collection of protective fabrics made of 80% COTTON/20% POLYESTER with flame retardant finishing. These protective fabrics are best used in a broad range of industries including Transportation of Oil & Gas (pipelines workers), Petrochemical (refineries staff). Utilities (Electrical/Water/Gas service companies personnel) etc. High quality cotton rich blend, improved by addition of polyester and antistatic yarn, provides that these fr-fabrics feature high quality of natural fibers and durability of polyester such as higher tear resistance and better colorfastness.

FLAME RETARDANT ARAMID FABRICS

Artex fabrics are innovative inherent flame retardant fabrics made of blended aramid fibers in composition of 93% Meta-Aramid, 5% Para-Aramid, 2% Antistatic. Inherent thermal, flame and electric arc protection cannot be washed away. This property of aramid fibers is built into their chemical structure. Garments made with aramid fabrics are not flammable. When exposed to flame, the aramid fiber swells and becomes thicker, forming a protective barrier between the heat source and the skin. This protective barrier stays supple until it cools down, giving the wearer vital extra seconds of protection to escape. Artex aramid fabrics are very durable, have high tensile resistance and light weight.

POLYESTER

FLAME RETARDANT POLYESTER FABRICS

Originally, polyester fibers are combustible and have no flame retardant properties. After special FR-treatment polyester fabrics get some flame retardant properties that provide limited FR-protection and allow to avoid risks of occasional flame and fire sparkles. Flame retardant properties of FR-Polyester are not that strong as of FR-Cotton or FR-PolyCotton fabric. FR-Polyester complies to ISO 14116, which is a standard for limited flame retardant properties. FR-Polyester has good durability and breathable properties, has good elasticity and abrasion resistance, it is soft and dries fast. Also, with additional finishing it can withstand to some aggressive chemicals. Flame retardant polyester fabrics can be used for work wear and rain wear (jackets, overalls etc) as well as for bags and backpacks of emergency personnel. We use only high grade polyester for producing our polyester fabrics. It provides the softness, elasticity and long life circle of our FR-polyester fabrics.

FLAME RETARDANT MODACRYLIC FABRICS

Modacrylic Fabrics are made with a synthetic copolymer, so called Modified Acrylics (ModAcrylics). The main property of Modacrylics is inherent Flame Resistance. Moreover, Modacrylic keep Flame Resistance properties even when blended with Cotton or other fiber Due to this fact, Modacrylics are widely used for FR Clothing. Modacrylics generally more expensive than FR-Cotton, NC or Cotton-Polyester fr-fabric. Still, Modacrylics feature many other advantages: Modacrylics are easily dyed, especially in HiVis Yellow or Orange colours as per EN 20471. Modacrylics are more comfortable in wear, they better keep shape and form, dry quicker and withstand to mildew. Modacrylic fabrics are also have a good resistance to chemicals.
