NFPA 2112 is a North-American standard declaring requirements for FR-clothing and FR-fabric.
FR clothing certified according NFPA 2112 is must for Oil and Gas workers in USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and some other countries.
NFPA 2112 includes testing the fabric or garment for flame resistance (ASTD D6413) before and after 100 wash cycles.
HTP, Heat Transfer Performance is also tested as well as Thermal shrinkage resistance.
